The Code Editor, similar to Visual Editor, interface is organized into three key sections:

  • the toolbar
  • the main editor
  • action buttons.

The toolbar, much like those found in other document creation tools, offers a wide array of options to enhance your document creation experience. It includes features for printing, editing, inserting images and tables, formatting text, and even viewing the source code. With these tools readily accessible, you can easily customize your document to your specific requirements.

The main editor is main part of the Code Editor, where the actual content creation takes place. This is where you code your document. The main editor also supports Smarty Templating Language, allowing you to incorporate dynamic fields into your document and add any conditionals that you need for your document. This enables you to create highly customizable and responsive content that can adapt to various contexts and data inputs.

The action buttons provide a variety of essential functions. These include the ability to save your document, switch between editors and edit the document’s header and footer.

Additionally, you can review the document’s version history to track changes and revisions, and add merge fields to dynamically incorporate data into your content. These features ensure you have full control over every aspect of your document, enhancing both its functionality and customization.
