Documerge offers various delivery methods for sending merged documents via email, along with additional options that will be detailed below.

Documerge also provides a range of customizable options when utilizing the email delivery method:

Insert Merge field
Documerge offers a highly detailed rich text editor for crafting your email content. In cases when you want your email to include dynamic fields from the document merge, you can use the “Insert Merge Field” option and append any field from the dropdown menu to email content:

Always send this email
This option will be selected by default. If you uncheck it, you can add conditionals to specify in which case the email should be sent. Document fields are also available and can be used for conditionals.

CC/BCC
The email delivery method allows you to add CC and BCC addresses when sending an email. You can include multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma:

Include “Read Receipt”
Selecting this will notify you when user opens the email containing merged document.

Send custom email headers
When selected you can send any custom headers you might need. Very convenient when having an app that depends on custom headers.

Send download links if attachments are larger than
In cases when document merged is larger than a specified size you selected email delivery method offers a neat way to send the link instead of trying to attach the document on email:

Delay this delivery
If you need to delay the delivery of an email, this option is useful. You can postpone sending the email for up to 30 days.

If an error occurs, send an email to
If an error occurs while using this delivery method, a notification can be sent to the specified email address.
